The villa had been extended twice, and the cooling had been extended with it. Six split units of three different ages, none of them sized for the rooms they were serving. The upper floor never got below 26°C in July.
We ran a full heat-load calculation across the building, replaced the units with a correctly sized central system, and installed insulated ductwork through the roof void with new supply diffusers and return grilles. The system was commissioned, balanced and handed over with full documentation.
Measured result: every room within 1°C of setpoint at peak load, and a noticeably quieter house.
